Internship in Geneva

During the summer semester 2017/2018 one of our students, Jan Hudac, spent 5 month as a trainee in the World Federation for Medical Education. He wrote a short report about his traineeship for us.

"During my Erasmus study in France I realized that I would like to experience an internship abroad. The idea became a reality and thanks to the support of Palacky University I spent 5 extraordinary months working in the World Federation for Medical Education, an international non-governmental organisation based near Geneva. Apart from the daily routine of the office dealing with medical education and accreditations from all over the world, I had the opportunity to be present as an observer at the Human Rights Council, the World Health Assembly and the ICRC Health Care in Danger Annual meeting. During these months I also met a lot of interesting and inspirational people from the field of human rights law, medicine and diplomacy. It was an amazing experience and I came back enriched with new knowledge and full of enthusiasm for my future career…"
