Tuition fees and scholarships


The tuition fee is 2,500 EUR per academic year (2 semesters).

The tuition fee is payable at once at the beginning of the respective academic year, usually by the end of September. At a student´s request the total amount of the tuition fee may be devided into several smaller instalments.

The tuition fee does not include cost of books, course materials, living expenses or health insurance.

Scholarships from the Palacký University

Faculty of Law Excellence Scholarship

The Faculty of Law aims to attract excellent students, regardless of their origin and financial ability. The Faculty of Law invites outstanding students to apply for the Excellence Scholarship. The maximum award is 150,000 CZK (approx. € 5,800) and the scholarship lasts a maximum of one year (two semesters). Depending on the amount of the scholarship granted it can cover the tuition fee and partially also living costs. The Faculty of Law Excellence Scholarship may be granted repeatedly.

The deadline for submission of the application is 15 July.

The mandatory requirements for the application for the grant are:

  • Structured CV
  • One letter of recommendation from a university faculty member
  • Summary of relevant professional activities
  • Motivation letter

All the documents stated above must be in Czech or English and must be submitted to the International Relations Office of the Faculty of Law:
