JUDr. Mag. iur. Michal Malacka, Ph.D., MBA, is senior lecturer in private international law.
Education and professional experience
Michal Malacka studied Law faculty of Palacky University, which he’s absolved in the year 1998. In the same year he absolved at the Karl-Franzens University in Graz the basic course of European Union law. In the year 1999 the Washington Public Policy Leadership Institute in USA and held the position of the Vice-dean for foreign Relations at the Faculty of Law of the Palacky University. In the year 2000 he held the position of the mediator at the Swiss Chamber of Commerce in Zürich. In the same year he received the title JUDr. at the Faculty of Law of the Masaryk University and started teaching courses of International private law at the Law faculty of the Palacky University. In the year 2001 he has been in the age of 28 elected and named in the position of the Dean of the Law Faculty of the Palacky University. After finishing his Ph.D. studies in the field of European Union studies at the Philosophical Faculty of the University Palacky in the year of 2002 he got 2008 the title MBA at the PIBS in Prague. From the year 2007 he is also active as an arbitrator at The Arbitration Court of Czech Chamber of Commerce and since 2009 he is also active at The Attorney Chamber of the Czech Republic. From 2011 he is a master lector of ICC in the Czech Republic. He was active as a member of the Security board of Olomouc region and is also authorized by the Interior Ministry to lecture courses of professional qualification in the state administrative and for the leading staff of state administration. In the period 2008 – 2014 Michal served as the Vice-rector for foreign relations of the University Palacky and in the period 2014 – 2015 as the director of the Olomouc region administrative office.

Michal is co-author of the monograph Phenomenon of international terrorism and Mediation – the reflection of actual trends.
