Olga Pouperová

Assoc. prof. Olga Pouperová, Ph.D., is an associate professor of administrative law and Vice-Dean for Ph.D. studies. at Faculty of Law of Palacký University Olomouc.

Education and professional experience

Olga completed her master studies in law at Palacký University Olomouc, doctoral degree (JUDr.) at Masaryk University, postgraduate law degree (Ph.D) at Charles University and associate professorship procedure in administrative law at Masaryk University. During her doctoral studies she participated in a one year exchange study programme at Vienna University, Faculty of Law.

Olga was invited as a speaker at various universities (Estonia, France, Italy, New York) and participated in several international conferences (Bratislava, Vienna, Oslo).

Between 2009 and 2012 she held a position in the legislative board of Council of Higher Education Institutions of the Czech Repbublic. Since 2014 she has been a member of Disciplinary Chamber of the Supreme Administrative Court.

She worked as a lawyer for Czech Television for several years.

Research fields and expertise

In her research she focuses on media regulation and related issues. She led and cooperated on several research projects.
